Saree

No matter what!!! The colour, structure, height, weight, state and country, a girl in saree is always gorgeous.

Our country has faced many rulers, changes in customs and religions, globalization effects, yet the importance of saree remains the same. Right from the poor to rich, cotton to silk, traditional to glamorous party wear, this 5 to 9 yards cloth has its own specialty.

The style of wearing clothes impact out mind, soul, body and society as well. Most of us think that we need clothes just to cover up our body and maintain our dignity in the society. But this is not the only reason. The atmosphere of the earth contains both positive and negative energy. Our cloth works as a shield to prevent negative energy from entering our body. The western style clothes are popular these days. But it will suit  for a girl with normal shape but in case of abnormal shape, it won’t work out in most of the cases.. The saree covers fine details of the out of shape body and makes the person looks decent. If the person is too attractive, then also it neutralizes to avoid dirty looks. The best part of saree is that it can make you look attractive as well as traditional.

As in case of the Earth and the Universe, the healthy energy flow in our body is in the circular direction. That’s why a women’s body is curvy in shape. Energies in our body should move in a circular direction to keep us healthy. Both positive and negative energies coming towards our body touches our clothes first, then enters into the body also to its energy channels and then into the internal organs. When energy touches the saree, it travels in circular motion around the body, helping the energy move in the right path, which makes saree a winner in clothing. It helps to keep our mind, body and soul healthy.

Another good part is that, while energy traveling in 5-6 yards of cloth, the negative energies coming inside gets stuck in the cloth and it then cleans up with washing. These kind of heavy energies are said to be lazy and cannot move a lot.

The mid part of the body i.e the stomach area is left uncovered in Saree for which, some feel that it exposes the skin. Actually, there is a big reason behind that too. Body receives a lot of life force energy from this area. This should be left open always. One more reason for this is that pregnant women should be prone to sunlight during their pregnancy inorder to get sunlight to their baby inside the womb. It should be done because the bilirubin level( low level of jaundice) of the baby should be maintained, if not maintained after birth babies bilirubin levels  will be high thus turning the babies into yellow.

There is an awesome reason behind wearing 9 yards saree. It is believed that the Madisaar especially the Gacham (if you know to drape) at the back acts as a cushion to the lumbar area and it’s exactly that of like hip belt which orthos suggest for people with back ache. Madisaar also cushions uterus and acts as a shock absorber and that’s why our ancestors hardly had any miscarriage or infertility problems.

Now-a-days foreigners have identified the significance of saree and started using it. But are we using it as it has to be??

Think and Act.
